Simply Jeff has taken a giant step from the norm, and it is those DJs that get noticed. Through years of being a vinyl perfectionist, Simply Jeff has become one of the foremost authorities on breaks. He dedicates himself to discovering all different styles of breaks out there today and bringing them to the public. Currently, Jeff has been working with many prominent artists, both DJ's and crossover artists alike, such as DJ Icey, Stacey Q, Snoop Dogg and Andrew Dice Clay.

His most recent album, Breakbeat Massive, released on Moonshine Music, is an amazing testament to Jeff's ability. The flow of the set and quality of mixing on the CD is awesome. The disc starts out funky and bangin'. This similar sound remains present throughout the mix until it ends. As a whole the set is very danceable, with a new fresh quality. The first track, Simply Jeff's "Funkengruven", certainly gets the mix started off right and is impeccably mixed into Jackal & Hyde's "Give It All You've Got". Divine Frequency featuring Stacey Q's "Hear the Feeling (Simply Jeff Remix)" is another awesome track that starts to wind the mix down. Rick West's "In the Mix" finishes the set up in an appropriate fashion. All in all, Breakbeat Massive truly chronicles the current state and resurgence of breakbeat music in the U.S. today.
